Here’s me crankin out the frontside…
As I said in my last post, I’m following in Ryan’s footsteps when it comes to skateboarding milestones. But that said, we’re BOTH super stoked about how well we’re riding the park these days. Here’s some footy of me riding heelside and frontside in the Bonsor Flowpark. I can’t tell you how freaky some of those frontside turns were – especially as I had some height going as I was learning! Still, once I got over the head-freak, it all fell into place… awesome!
Here’s me rockin out on the park… And yes – I KNOW my ending is weak … :-p

Hey – thanks Matt! I gotta say – it is AWESOME! And the best part is, you can get up and running for next to no dough… I went “all out” and bought a board for like… $200, and then it was down to getting some pads and shoes (all of which you could get for another $200 or less – OR check out Cheapskates). And if you have any pads that you use for rollerblading – boom, you’re in. All I can say is this: it’s ALL the fun of snowboarding, only it’s not cold, and you’re not paying $70 every time you want to go.
…Wait till you see the latest footage…

Haha – Thanks for the note John… you’re right! It’s a REAL winter up here… and it’s been colder than EVER this year! I thought we were finally starting to get some opportunity for us to hit the bowls the other day… but then we got some slushy-rain this morning… DOH!!

Yep I hear ya. I hit the local park here in Calgary this am and was pretty sweet except for the deep snow in the deep bowls. Other wise was real goo to roll again.
